About the Edition

The Seminoe Mountains represent an old greenstone belt that is >2.5 billion years old. During sampling of this terrain, the author found significant gold at Bradly Peak that led to a gold rush in 1981. The author believes that a significant gold deposit was overlooked by both early and modern prospectors and ist outlined by a circular zone of hydrothermal alteration. The report also describes komatiites, iron formations, basalts and other unusual rocks as well as a giant gold paleoplacer along the northern flank of the Seminoe Mountains. During this investigation, the author also discovered evidence for a major diamond(s) deposit.
